Our Story
Hi there, and welcome to my little slice of country paradise nestled in the picturesque town of Pittsworth, right in the heart of the Darling Downs, QLD. My name is Rachael and this is more than just my local town—it’s where my passion for Clover Country Flowers & Gifts blossomed. Inspired by my love for all things flowers, pretty gifts, luxury homewares, and the desire to provide a friendly service to the local community.
Having grown up in a small country town in Ireland and reared on a farm, I’ve always been deeply connected to the land and the simple joys of country living. In 2009, after a few visits, I made the big decision to relocate permanently to Australia.
My move to Pittsworth in 2019 was inspired by meeting my husband, a farmer, a local born & bred, and our shared dream of wanting to rear our son on the land. From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home, embraced by the warmth and friendliness of the locals.
As you might have guessed, I wanted to incorporate my Irish heritage into the name of my shop. The three-leaf clover symbolises my roots, is a flower, represents our country location, and perfectly describes what we do—Clover Country Flowers & Gifts!
